I have no idea of the age or vintage of this item.
Back side has some Scuff Marks & Light Surface Rust
Tip has valve similar to those found on tires, possibly to hold reading
I have no idea of the condition of the calibration on this, therefore it is being sold in
As Is, Unknown Condition.
Threader Tool with ⅜'' Die
This may or may not be an aircraft tool
I wiped the dirt off the Die & found it is marked ⅜'' with brand
name Triad
The Die is also marked NYE & D51 Possibly these markings help you determine the thread type & threads per inch.

I believe this may be some sort of Boring Assembly The main part of this that holds the cutting bits measures about 8'' or about

The ''attachments'' shown below fit into this channel
Threads in top end appear to show little or no signs of abuse
