Home of the famous Petits Patés de Pézenas.
(recipe can be found in our Recipes section)
The town dates back to Medieval times & is a wonderful place to visit on a day
trip or stay a few days, as it is only 20 minutes to the Mediterranean beaches
(les plages). The Saturday street market is well worth the trip. You will also
find a wonder exhibit in the rear of the church, open to the public. There are
many interesting craft shops, restaurants & antique shops Brocante.
There is also a walking tour that take you to the Jewish "Ghetto" section that
used to have gates closed from Dusk to Dawn.
