Matagorda, Colorado River, & Palacios

The South Texas Nuclear Plant is in the area & is close to Bay City. Just across the Bay of Palacios is the town of Palacios. The Railroad was heavily involve in building the town of Palacios in the early 1900s.

Sam loved the river
Sam liked to go to the river with us. He was not interested in the fish though. Maybe it was just because all we saw in the water that day were Gar. However he did like to swim.
Bulkhead on the Colorado River
The Bulkhead I helped them build. This was a lot of work & in the direct sun. It was very hot the day we built it & I think the heat got to my friend.
